Job Description:
We’re seeking a hands-on Sr. Software Engineer to lead development within a modern PLM ecosystem (FlexPLM preferred) for a major retail organization. In this role, you’ll drive customizations, integrations, and solution delivery across enterprise systems. As a subject matter expert, you’ll shape architecture, influence Agile execution, and ensure data integrity across product/item systems. You’ll work closely with business, technical, and vendor teams to optimize end-to-end product lifecycle workflows.
Responsibilities
• Deliver PLM solutions aligned to business requirements and product data structures
• Develop customizations and integrations using Java, JavaScript, .NET, or JSP
• Improve data quality across retail systems through testing, documentation, and deployment
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive delivery and troubleshoot system issues
• Stay current on PLM best practices and guide continuous improvements
Requirements
• Strong experience in software engineering, application development, or systems integration
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C#, JSP, or HTML within the .NET Framework
• Experience with middleware tools and integrating PLM with enterprise platforms
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery
• Ability to manage technical requirements and architectural direction
Preferred
• FlexPLM or FlexConnect experience
• Background in retail systems or product/item master data environments
