Role – Docsis Test engineer
Location – Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans for DOCSIS 3.1 and 4.0 technologies.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and interoperability testing.
Use tools like Wireshark, Ixia, and Spirent for traffic analysis and simulation.
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Automate test cases using Python or similar scripting languages.
Document test results and provide feedback to development teams.
Ensure compliance with CableLabs specifications and Comcast internal standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in DOCSIS testing or broadband network validation.
Strong understanding of DOCSIS protocols, CMTS, and cable modem technologies.
Experience with RF signal analysis and network diagnostics.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DOCSIS 4.0 (FDX, ESD).
Knowledge of cloud-native environments and virtualization.
Certifications such as SCTE or CableLabs training.
