Skills: MS SQL, MySql, AWS RDS and Redshift.

Job Description:

· Classifying PCI and non-PCI data across MSSQL, Oracle SQL, MySQL, AWS RDS, and Redshift

· Analyzing schemas and queries to identify sensitive cardholder and personal data

· Applying PCI DSS controls including encryption, access management, and activity logging

· Implementing data masking, tokenization, and encryption frameworks

· Setting up role-based access control (RBAC) and fine-grained auditing

· Working closely with the product development team to support application-level database activities and ensure compliance verification and implementation

· Performing regular patching and vulnerability remediation

· Establishing hardened configurations and baseline policies across database platforms

· Conducting secure database backup and restore operations with strong encryption and retention policies.

· Performing PCI-aware performance tuning, ensuring queries and indexing strategies do not expose or bottleneck sensitive data

· Collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams

· Holding deep experience with database platforms: MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, RDS, Redshift

· Applying PCI DSS 4.0 standards in financial data environments

· Understanding data protection, network segmentation, and secure architecture design

· Familiarity with tools like BigID, Informatica, Varonis, and database vulnerability scanners

· Exposure to ETL pipelines and their impact on compliance posture

· Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and cloud-native database deployments
