Job Description:
Data Architect to lead Legacy data migration to Snowflake Data lake, Data Archival strategy and design on Data Warehouse on top of Snowflake Data lake.Key Responsibilities:· Design and architect end-to-end data warehouse solutions on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Snowflake.· Define and implement ELT pipelines using cloud-native tools and frameworks.· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models and architecture.· Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards across the data platform.· Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of data storage and processing.· Lead data integration efforts from various sources including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers.· Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for data ingestion, transformation, and visualization.Required Skills & Qualifications:· 8–10 years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.· Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Snowflake.· Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.· Hands-on experience with ELT tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, or Talend.· Expertise in SQL, data modelling (star/snowflake schema), and performance tuning.· Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or cloud-native equivalents.
· Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications:· Certifications in Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP, or related technologies.· Experience with real-time data processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).· Exposure to BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
