Cloud & SharePoint Developer
Location: Hybrid position requiring two days onsite per week at Columbus, OH 
Contract

Job Description: 
As a Cloud & SharePoint Developer you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SharePoint projects, including re-platforming existing on-premises solutions to the cloud. You will participate in all phases of application development from requirement gathering and design through deployment and ongoing support, serving as a subject matter expert in .Net and SharePoint technologies to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Participate in team activities, design discussions, stand-up meetings, and planning reviews.
Gather and document requirements by collaborating with business owners and stakeholders.
Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and support ODM .Net-based applications.
Serve as the .Net and SharePoint subject matter expert, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Conduct or participate in solution design reviews to verify quality and requirements alignment.
Implement all aspects of application development including coding, security, caching, debugging, workflow automation, UI/UX, documentation, and testing.
Diagnose system defects and trace issues to source code origins.
Use documented best practices for consistent development to ensure high performance and scalability.
Create solution job aids and how-to guides; mentor and train state staff.
Collaborate with vendors to tune and optimize solution performance and reliability.
Establish priorities and independently manage projects with attention to detail.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

12+ years developing front-end applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and frameworks like Knockout.
12+ years with .Net Framework and Microsoft C#.
6+ years working with relational databases (MS SQL Server/Oracle), including ORMs, queries, and stored procedures.
6+ years delivering SOA solutions integrating applications/services using WSDL/Schema/SOAP/REST.
5+ years leading or working on project development teams.
5+ years experience with Microsoft TFS and application configuration.
3+ years SharePoint development experience (SharePoint 2013/2016 application and solution development).
3+ years experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
3+ years building development environments and managing IIS web servers.
 
Preferred Experience
 
Experience with SharePoint Designer, Nintex Workflow, and InfoPath.
Experience with O365/SharePoint Online site design, creation, development, and administration.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to propose, document, and implement software project lifecycle solutions.
Effective team player in fast-paced, rapid delivery environments.
BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies in the IT domain.
