Job Description:

 

Responsibilities

 

•             – Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Snowflake and Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives. –

•             Oversee the development of data models that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes. –

•             Proven experience with the Power BI platform (administration and development (data modelling, visualization best practices, M,DAX..)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and requirements.

•             – Develop and maintain documentation for data models, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members.

•             – Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing robust validation and testing procedures.

•             Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and scalability of data solutions.

•             – Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

•             – Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.

•             – Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

•             – Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics to drive innovation within the team.

•             Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, and Power Apps – Nice to Have

•             Strong grasp of platform architecture, versioning practices, and governance standards

•             Ability to script and automate routine processes (e.g., PowerShell, APIs)

•             Engage with business users to gather requirements, perform needs assessments, and translate them into technical solutions.

•             Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

•             Create documentation, technical design specs, and user guides to support solution delivery and adoption.

•             Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement

•             Ability to translate business needs into platform features and best practices

 

Certifications Required : PBI Certification is of great advantage

 

Very good  to Have below Fabric work though not mandatory :

 

1. Power BI Architecture & Development

•             Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end Power BI architecture, including:

o             Data ingestion (via Fabric Pipelines & OneLake) , Semantic model design and optimization , DAX measures and calculations , Report and dashboard creation with UX best practices

•             Create and manage enterprise datasets, certified dataflows, and shared workspaces with security and scalability in mind.

2. Microsoft Fabric Engineering

•             Utilize Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including:

o             Direct Lake, Lakehouses, and OneLake , Data Pipelines and Notebooks

•             Orchestrate robust, automated, and reusable data workflows that support real-time and batch analytics.

3. Power Automate & Workflow Automation

•             Design and deploy Power Automate flows to support:

o             BI report refresh scheduling , Alerting and notification systems , Integration with third-party systems via connectors and APIs

•             Automate manual business processes to improve efficiency and auditability.
