Extensive experience with cloud database platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure).
Hands-on experience in:
ETL processes
Structured system development methodologies
Data integration and transfer methodologies between mainframes and distributed servers.
Proficiency in:
IBM Mainframe
Sun Solaris (UNIX)
Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MS Access
SAS DI Integration
Unix Shell Scripting, C/C++
SQL query writing, Stored Procedures
IIS, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat
TCP/IP, VPN, SSL Certificates, Active Directory
Encryption/Decryption tools
Network and Firewall configurations
Strong experience with:

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the lead technical expert supporting the NC DHHS IT Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Provide advanced architectural design, implementation, and maintenance of complex Oracle and SQL Server database environments.
Design and support integrated, automated systems connecting business, research, and instructional needs.
Conduct client needs assessments to evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions.
Ensure secure, efficient, and reliable data integration between various platforms, including mainframe and distributed server environments.
Manage and optimize applications operating across platforms such as IBM Mainframe, Sun Solaris (UNIX), Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MS Access, SAS DI, and various middleware components.
Develop and maintain ETL processes, stored procedures, shell scripts, and data transfer interfaces.
Ensure system security and data integrity through the use of encryption/decryption tools, SSL certificates, and network/firewall configurations.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve system performance in complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
Provide clear and professional communication in both verbal and written form, interacting effectively with management, business users, and technical teams.
