Role: Infrastructure OpenShift Architect
Location: Dallas, TX- Onsite
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with a strong OpenShift and hybrid cloud background to design, build, and integrate scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement Private Cloud/CaaS leveraging servers, storage, network, backup, and container platforms.
Assess application and infrastructure requirements for cloud transformation.
Install and configure infrastructure components for OpenShift and container orchestration.
Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, PowerShell, Azure CLI.
Ensure security, compliance, and high availability aligned with Zero Trust and SASE models.
Integrate systems across data centers and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle).
Requirements
10+ years in IT infrastructure with expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, virtualization, and converged infrastructure.
Strong experience with cloud networking, DevOps tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps), IaC, and automation scripting.
Knowledge of storage platforms (NetApp, EMC, Pure, etc.) and backup integration.
Hands-on experience with server and application migration, disaster recovery, and identity management.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Certifications
CKA / RedHat OpenShift
Azure/AWS Solution Architect
Terraform
MCSE / RHCSA
AZ-104 / AZ-305 or equivalent
