Job Title – Azure Application Architect (Java)

Location – Chicago, IL- Onsite

Hire type: Contract  

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Java application development.
• 3–5+ years of experience in architecting and delivering applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot
  • Azure App Services, AKS, Functions, Azure SQL/NoSQL, Event Hubs, Service Bus
  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
• Strong understanding of cloud security, cost optimization, and multi-region deployments.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and API management.
