Role: Product Owner
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite – to Need local to GA)
Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:
1. Identify and assess client’s business requirements.
2. Clearly define the scope of work to be completed.
3. Document detailed requirements for the development team to work from.
4. Collaborate with the Stakeholders, Architects, and development team to create solutions.
5. Review completed solutions to confirm requirements have been met.
6. Present solutions to involved stakeholders.
7. Work with other Business Analysts to review and improve standards.
8. Work with the Manager to review project timelines, scoping, and project statuses.
9. Take functional lead of the overall project teams as the Product Owner
10. Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
11. Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
12. Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
13. Participate, Own scrum ceremonies
14. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
15. Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
16. Lead the planning for product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
17. Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
18. Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
19. Plan and run small to large client projects
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Solid experience as a Business Analyst, at least 5+ year(s) ideally
2. Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 5+ year(s)
3. Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering or similar relevant field
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Proven experience with high level planning, problem solving and analysis.
6. In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
7. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
8. Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
9. Creative thinker with a vision
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to draw out the needs and requirements of clients.
11. Quick learner that can be put into new situations and quickly become a domain expert.
13. Attention to details.
14. Excellent client service and communication skills.
Skills:
Knowledge, hands-on experience in Jira, Confluence
Knowledge, hands-on experience in MS Visio or in similar Softwares
Writing basic SQL queries
Technical background will be a plus
