Position: Oracle Golden Gate Database Engineer

Location: Boston MA – Onsite – Hybrid

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Overview:

Mandate Skills:

Expertise in Oracle Golden Gate replication including installation and setup (with postgres as a source and multi-target (Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake)
Strong UNIX skills
Strong scripting skills (shell ok, but python is preferred)
Oracle/pl sql skills
AWS Cloud formation template expertise(EC2,EFS,S3 etc .)
Git/DevOps/CICD/Agile/Scrum experience
Requirements:

Oracle GoldenGate Expertise: Proven experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including installation, configuration, and management.
Database Experience: Strong experience with Oracle databases, including database design, development, and administration.
Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in Oracle GoldenGate, including data replication, transformation, and integration.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and identify solutions.
Essential Skills:

Oracle GoldenGate: Strong experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including data replication, transformation, and integration.
Oracle Database: Strong experience with Oracle databases, including database design, development, and administration.
SQL and PL/SQL: Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and scripts.
Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Nice to Have:

Certifications: Oracle GoldenGate certifications, such as Oracle GoldenGate Certified Implementation Specialist.
Experience with Other Technologies: Experience working with other data integration technologies, such as Informatica PowerCenter or IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
Cloud Experience: Experience working with cloud-based Oracle GoldenGate solutions, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
